Base Station or Portable Antenna

Model: FAA 5526

The "FANLITE" antenna is a lightweight transportable HF wire antenna intended primarily for omni-directional sky wave communications to a range of up to 2000 miles.  Short-range communication is achieved using a Near Vertical Incidence Sky wave (NVIS) configuration.  The antenna is rated for 1KW continuous operation, with a VSWR not exceeding 2.2:1 from 2 to 30 MHz.

Folded Broadband Dipole Antenna

Model: FAA 5501, FAA5529, FAA5527, FAA5528, FAD5532

The FAA 5501 is a high efficiency HF folded dipole antenna covering 1.8-30 MHz with a power rating of 1 KW Voice or 250 watts in Data or "continuous duty." Compact, with a minimum horizontal tower spacing of only 30 meters the antenna has excellent overall radiation efficiency.  Construction is of stainless steel wire elements with die cast aluminum component housings and UV resistant fiberglass spacer rods. Lightweight but extremely robust and with a low total mass and low wind loading. Can be installed as "flat top" broadband dipole, a "sloper" or as an inverted V.

Long-Wire Antenna

Model: TAA6030

The long-wire antenna requires less space than any dipole antenna, it is very simple to install and can be installed horizontally, in a slope, or as an inverted "L" (shown). Requires antenna tuner and good grounding for efficient operation.

HF -  Mobile Whip Antenna

Model: TAA1000 (2.4m) or FAD1400 (3.4m)

The mobile whip antennas come in two lengths, 2.4 meters (96 inches) stainless steel or 3.4 meters (3 ea. 48.4 inch fiberglass sections). The antenna bases are designed for easy installation on any vehicle. An antenna tuner must be used for operation in the HF frequency range of 1.6 to 30 MHz.

Broadband Vertical Antenna

The FAA5522 is a broadband HF whip antenna intended for use with Automatic Link Establishment (ALE) capable equipment for HF communications. No external tuning is necessary for operation over the 2 to 30 MHz HF bands.

M8866 vertical marine base antenna   5 kw ratingThe MB-6886-86 was originally designed for marine usage.  It has been found to be an excellent choice for extensive use as a base station antenna The antenna is useable with Automatic Link Establishment (ALE) capable equipment for HF communications. Capable of operation over the1.8 to 30 MHz HF bands. Rated at 500 watts of RF Power. Capable of being taken apart for transporting in two sections when assembled the overall length is 35 foot total.

HF - SSB Wide-band Mobile and Automatic  System (WIMA)

Model: FAD1410

The MICOM WIMA is a Wide-band, Mobile, and Automatic Antenna System. The system consists of a fast tuning, microprocessor controlled antenna tuner and a 6 ft (2.13 meter) fiberglass whip antenna.  The tuner is rated at 125 watts for voice and limited data operation.  It covers the entire HF frequency range of 1.6 to 30 MHz with a nominal VSWR of 1.5:1.  Also available for increasing transmission range is a 12 ft 3 section fiberglass whip or a Near Vertical Incidence Sky wave (NVIS) kit.

Magnetic Mount System (MMS) 
The Magnetic Mount System (MMS) provides a mounting base for several antenna tuner types with a gimbal type of mount to position the antenna.  The mount provides a connection between the tuner high voltage RF output stud and the antenna mounting threads.  The "grounding " connections on the mount also facilitate a "quick and easy" bonding and grounding to the site ground or counterpoise radials.  The MMS is the answer  to easy, reliable antenna and antenna tuner mounting for mobile or field environments.
